How Scarlett Johansson got in shape for The Avengers: Age Of Ultron

There is no doubt that Scarlett Johansson is one of the sexiest stars. And going by her looks in The Avengers : Age of Ultron one can easily say that she works really hard to get  toned. The sexy superwoman makes her body-hugging, skin-tight, costume look easy with her hourglass shape. Playing the part of a fit action hero was also no cake’s walk, and she had to train hard to get there. So how did the actress manage to look so fit in the movie? Let’s find out.

Fitness regime

Well, she endured long hours of physical training to get ready for her physically demanding role. She made it a point to get up at 5 am in the morning and workout for 90 minutes. Scarlett is not a cardio fan and prefers lifting weights. She did classic strength training moves that included squats, lunges, pushups, and planks. Besides this, she also performed circuits that involved her to workout with kettlebells. Dumbells, medicine balls, resistance bands even TRX  were also regular features in her workout regime. To make sure her body was strong enough and flexible to perform all the stunts, she had to work her legs and her upper body extensively.

Diet

Scarlet is not someone who normally follows a strict diet, but she makes sure she keeps it light when it comes to food items. To get into the role of a black-widow in Avengers, she stuck to a low-carb diet. The actress, however, makes sure that she has mini meals several times in a day. She has oatmeal, egg omelette, fresh fruits and vegetables, and salads for breakfast. For lunch, she likes having quinoa and turkey. Scarlett has some apples and almonds for snacks. She then moves on to a high-protein dinner that usually includes steamed fish with broccoli and cabbage.
